We are so thrilled! The Audubon Center of the North Woods is the PERFECT place to practice yoga, meditate, journal, breath fresh air, relax, and unwind. This intimate and secluded setting is unreal. How could such an ideal nature space for a yoga retreat possibly be only 1.5 hours North of the Twin Cities, 1 hour South of Duluth, and 2.5 hours East of Walker??? We know... perfection!!
Fun little story (at least we think so!) The journey to choosing this location happened organically. Obviously Audubon is an Environmental Learning Center in the Northern part of the state - and WE LOVE THAT! Audubon also continued to come up over and over again in conversation as a place that people in our lives were recommending for us to look at. Yoga retreat attendees and dear friends brought Audubon up to Bryana, Joella, and Amanda all on separate occasions. Obviously all signs pointed to this beautiful place - right? Yes. JOURNEY NORTH with us. We would be truly honored to have you on this yoga & nature inspired adventure.

Yes, beginners - and those who feel "out of practice" - are more than welcome to attend! Many of our past retreat attendees have admitted to feeling intimidated about coming. Afterwards, they always tell us that they felt SO welcomed and didn't know what they were worried about. It's such an inviting and accepting environment. Come as you are! If you like to practice yoga in your t-shirt & sweats - great! - if you feel awesome in yoga clothing with "all the crazy patterns!!" - we love that too!
Also, if you can't lift your leg in the air; not to mention touch your toes...that is NOT a requirement. Our classes offer a wide variety of modifications for beginners to seasoned yogis. It's all about feeling good and practicing the kind of yoga that is right for YOU, in this moment. You're so awesome. COME! We love ya.
